Folks, I have the immense pleasure to announce that the preorders for Tarot of a Forest Witch have gone live!! I’ve been waiting for this moment to happen since the beginning of the year, when I finished painting the cards. I spent many hours daydreaming, picturing in my mind’s eye what it would feel like to have my own Tarot Deck out into the world (it’s absolutely wild!). At the same time, I still can’t believe I actually created a…

I even included some close-ups of the original illustration as a bonus at the end of the…
It’s a ‘chicken or egg’ kind of question: which came first, picking up a paintbrush or falling in love with the Living World? I’m not entirely sure, but either way, what matters most is the undeniable connection between the two. As an artist whose spiritual beliefs are rooted in animism and forest witchery, I find inspiration in the land around me, in the environment in which I exist and grow. Wildlife, trees, clouds, and mushrooms… Each piece I create is…
It’s been a while since the last time I dabbled with YouTube, but the arrival of Spring has reignited my passion for creative projects, including crafting videos! There’s something truly invigorating about the change in seasons, and Spring, in particular, always seems to inspire a whirlwind of creativity within me. Another endeavor that has captured my attention recently is woodburning but with a delightful twist – I’ve been playing with a rather new and unconventional support: eggs. What better way…

Spring is definitely here now, bringing back colorful songbirds and wildflowers, enchanting sights and scents seemingly crafted for our own delight. The spirited Steller’s Jays engage in lively disputes amidst the towering firs while industrious Juncos are busy foraging on the soft, sun-kissed ground. Meanwhile, the old Cherry Tree looks over the yard, adorned in a magnificent canopy of pristine white blooms. I try my best to spend as much time as possible in its company, before the whims of…
Spring has finally arrived, blessing the land with early blooms while gentle rain showers come to nourish them. With my recent move coinciding with the changing season (a welcome synchronicity), reflections began to sprout in my mind about what it means to live and thrive in foreign soil, in an environment different from the one in which you originally grew. My journey as an expatriate – a transplant, if you will – has been one of discovery and growth, shaped…
Hello my dear Wonder Seekers! I am writing to you from a completely different place, a realm embraced by the ancient guardians of the forest: Western Redcedars, Douglas Firs, and Sword Ferns. No, I don’t live in the depths of a remote woodland, but I found sanctuary in a house that definitely gives that feeling. And let me tell you, I’m absolutely enchanted by it! 2024 is a year of great changes in my life, and moving to a different…
“I started making Tarot of a Forest Witch in 2023 and it’s such an exciting project! It allows me to infuse my own energy and symbolism into each card, to think deeper about the different archetypes they represent, and how I want to picture them through my art. “ Remember early January? I was talking about my witchy resolutions and what I’d like to focus on this year. One of my goals – which I didn’t clearly spell out in…
