Witchy Wonders Await – Sneak Peek at the Summer Collection

Witchy Wonders Await – Sneak Peek at the Summer Collection

Imagine standing at the threshold of a quaint, hidden cottage deep into the woods. It’s the middle of a beautiful, warm day and sunlight filters through the dense canopy above you, casting dappled shadows on the soft moss covering the ground. Birds sing in the distance, a gentle murmur that seems to bring the entire forest to life. The air is thick with the scent of wildflowers, drawing you along the path home. Your intuition tells you that, just perhaps, a bouquet awaits you on the table, a fragrant surprise to welcome you to this cozy haven.

As you push open the weathered wooden door, you find yourself in a world filled with treasures and wonder. Freshly cut herbs have been left hanging to dry and the old oak shelves are covered with a multitude of colored candles and glass jars. These are filled with plants gathered at the break of dawn, potions brewed under moonlit skies, herbal teas infused with Nature’s most potent spells. Here, every object whispers secrets of the Earth and the enchanting power that lies within it…

Welcome to a bewitching world where every plant tells a story, every potion has a purpose, and magic is just a breath away. Welcome to the Witch’s Garden 🌻🌿✨

Hello there, I hope you liked this little introduction! As you can see, I’m having a lot of fun with the new collection I’m preparing right now!

Although I absolutely adore my current home, I often find myself daydreaming about that lovely, imaginary cottage in the woods. I think it’s good; it keeps my witchy heart happy and inspires me to keep creating magical objects and illustrations like the ones I’m sharing with you today!

This collection is close to my heart. I started working on it in June, following the rhythm of the days growing longer and warmer. Some of these moments were accompanied by gentle rain showers, but I tried my best to spend most of it outdoors, sketching these new designs while lying in the grass under the cedar overlooking the yard. Feeling the energy of the Earth beneath me is sure to help the ideas flowing and I will cherish these simple moments and memories long after the season changes.

It all began with a few simple flowers sketched here and there and soon blossomed into a more witchy-inspired collection. This shift was largely influenced by my latest explorations in Green Witchery, where I decided to infuse plants and herbs into my practice as much as I can while they’re in abundance, getting to know the ones I’ve recently met, and making the most out of the gifts they offer to those who listen. Each one has its own story to tell, its own unique energy to share, and I’ve tried to capture that in my designs.

Summer Collection Preview WiP - Witchy Shelves

But anyways, I just wanted to give you a little peek at this new collection before it’s officially ready. It is scheduled to go live in my store next week, on August 14! I’m really excited about it!

A couple of the designs I’ve created for this collection are some of my favorites of the year. I especially love the witchy shelves, tiny worlds filled with trinkets and treasures that reflect the magic of Nature. I was so inspired that I ended up making two different versions of it – the second of which I’ll keep secret for now. And the moonflowers! I never realized how enjoyable it would be to sketch moonflowers. There’s something so calming and ethereal about drawing them, and I hope you’ll love them as much as I do.

But enough of me talking! What are your favorites so far? Which designs or items are you looking forward to seeing completed? Do any particular themes or elements resonate with you? Your feedback is invaluable, so feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.

In the meantime, I wish you all a happy August! Embrace the warmth, the magic of the season, and the little wonders that each day brings 🌻☀️🌿
