Magical Luna Moth – Oldie but Goodie
I found some old footage the other day: a magical Luna Moth hand-burned and painted on a large slice of basswood. To this day, it is still one of my favorite things I’ve ever crafted so I finally took the time to sort all of these clips and make a video out of them.
I learned a lot while making this artwork and played with a variety of different techniques, tools and mediums (walnut ink, India ink, gel pens, Posca’s… ). I could expand more on what I use later if that’s something you’re curious about – let me know in the comments.
I hope you like the result as much as I do! And if you’re interested in taking this cute creature home, you can check my shop, it might still be available there. And if it’s not, I also offer some Mini Prints of the paper illustration you can see in the video.
