I know, that&#8217;s not a thing, but I wanted to create a little something for a couple of friends who never fail to make me feel welcome here, at home really, in a country that isn&#8217;t mine. So I figured a lovely cabin-in-the-woods scenery would do the trick and carry this feeling of coziness and warmth that I invariably find going to their place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But before gifting it to them, I took the time to film the whole creation to make sure I&#8217;d be able to share a piece of it with you too \ud83d\udc9b\ud83e\udde1 It wasn&#8217;t without challenges though, but I&#8217;m still happy with the result, and hopeful that you&#8217;ll like it as much as I do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See, this pretty decoration actually cost me my favorite Pyrography Pen, which happens to also be the most fragile I own. You can see me already struggling in the beginning, pushing (surely too much) my pen into the wood, not realizing that it wasn&#8217;t heating properly. It didn&#8217;t take long before it broke, and I had to wait a few days before receiving a new one, hence the awful change of light in the middle of the timelapse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that&#8217;s the kind of hurdle that happens sometimes with handcrafted projects, and I&#8217;m okay with it. Nothing lasts forever, and it&#8217;s not something I would ever expect from my tools. But still, I can&#8217;t help but wonder why it always happens when your deadline is already tight. The truth is, I finished this ornament the day before Thanksgiving..! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fortunately, my friends liked it, and in the end, that&#8217;s the only thing that matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi there!
